I'm from New England (original colonies) in the US. So much of the horrible way we treated our indigenous brothers and sisters was at the hands of the British.

In fact there are still scars today. The tribe that met and traded with the French first is much better off than the tribe that was on the English-occupied river.

Not saying the french were saints, but holy cow the brutality. :/
