yeah i should probably update just to be sure. my old scanner had software that allowed me to adjust colors/tones/brightness/etc before i even scanned it in. since getting the new one (that doesnt have such software) i haven't scanned much color work, so it's probably a learning curve to.
but i loved my old simple wonderful canon. <3
