Rest in peace, love. I never got a chance to tell you, "I love you too" to that note you sent me... but I'm pretty sure you know it's true. Maybe not as my romantic partner, but nevertheless I had a bond with you that was unique and lovely.

I will miss you so much... But I promise you that I won't drop everything in my life for this. Knowing you, you're just laughing at me right now for making such a scene and bawling my eyes out, but while I do this I'm also laughing at all the silly things we did, and that happened.

This is the best picture I have ever taken in my life, and you know it's true. I'm going to be very, very sad for a while... because who wouldn't be when they have to miss out on someone as awesome as you are?

But I will be alright... I'll be fine, just for you. And Yvonne. And Kevin. And I know that one day we will all be together, and that we will find each other in the next life, and the one after that.

I love you, my best friend, my brother. I know you kind of wrecked those wings of yours, but I hope our love for you patched them right up. Wouldn't want to take the opportunity from you to fly.
