Resist the urge to watch Damien get violated by the slime monster and help him!

Ask the monster why it's attacking, when you hold no grudge towards it.

Let the slime monster eat Damien for a while, and work on that arousal. Then, just before Damien is gone for good, whack that sonovabitch slime monster!

attack the slime creature and use a light elemental attack to evaporate the slime monster.
(not light as in softly, light as in the sunlight)

Scream "HIGHLANDER!!!" and smack the monster.

Sefra should be distracted by his arousal until the last possible second before Damien is consumed, then wail on that damned slime until it's down and out. That, or Damien could attempt to drink/chew on the slime.

I think you need to go save the HECK out of Damien!

Use damien as an impromtu projectile and smack him through the slime monster if that doesn't work pummel the monster afterwards.

You must rescue Damien, of course, but no one said you have to do it quickly.
Last moment rescues are more... 'exciting', no?

Offer a trade with the slime monster, your hammer for Damien. If the monster agrees lets go of Damien then "give" it the hammer by slamming it with wide arc on its face, sending it blasting off past the horizon. If he doesn't agree simple slam damien 1st on his head, this will probaldy confuse the slime monster and while it's confused slam the slime monster and hope it will drop Damien while you blast it off past the horizon.

Save damien moments before he's entirely engulfed. *nodnod*

Eat the slime monster like jello!
