I'm never going to forgive myself for not being bothered about dating my early work. ;) Pretty sure this one's from 1998 or so. Ballpoint pen, a dragon perching somewhere near Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore on the coast of Lake Michigan, looking north toward Empire Bluff. One of my favorite locations on the planet.
Apologies about the lined paper, but it's always been like that. When I get in the mood to draw it'll happen on whatever surface presents itself most readily!

*grins* Yeah! I finally decided I should upload a bunch of my older stuff from 1998-2004 or so, back when I was drawing a lot by hand and didn't have a tablet yet. And I've been going sorta nuts uploading 'em. Figured more Dorey art history would be fun, not only letting you all see the more recent tablet stuff. ^^
