Here we have Cleaver the Kobold. Pre transition to badass fighter. At this point in her life, her kobold tribe had been wiped out by a mercenary clan. Cleaver and several other of the young kobolds had been offered an ultimatum; serve the mercenaries, or die like their parents. Cleaver chose to live. She spent several years working for the clan chef, taking her new name from her assigned tool. It wasn't until she was older that she swapped the cleaver for a rapier and took her place in the mercenary fighting force. She still carries the cleaver as a backup weapon.
