This is my contribution to
cheska's journal about barbarian art work in honor of the late Frank Frazetta. Deciding to go with a more close-up style I used an old pic of myself as reference (with some added muscle), and gave my warrior the broken blade of his father, ehich he plans to drive into the chest of his adversary.

Thank you for that ^_^ I was always able to do better drawings looking at something and drawing than from scratch. As for how I got the muscles, working 3rd shift for years where your job entails watching a hallway of sleeping teens, you have a lot of time to read. So I read a lot of muscle and fitness style magazines, and was able to learn about definition that way.
And thanks for the faves :)
