It's a long story and one you'd never go to watch in a theater or even read on the plane, not a surprise when everyone's already so bored of hearing it. But for what it's worth it keeps on rolling, rattling across every crack in the sidewalk because around here there's no choice but to keep going, you don't get to stop and get off, you don't get to adjust the mirror. If it's any consolation, everyone here is just as bored of it but there's not much else to show and tell, a playground halfway to hell perhaps, a school all too happy if nobody wants to raise their hand. But it keeps going, hits the relentless hills, firing like a bullet all the way down, symbolic for something probably, but nobody's around to write about it. You keep going until you hit something or maybe you cut a hard turn at the last moment, and that's how it is around here, turning left, turning right, until the thing comes along that makes you stop and if it never comes, you can never stop, you just keep going, and a few people see you but nobody hears a thing.
