its not about their fur or scale color, but their "personality type" the book was done as a joke to poke fun of some artists making stock species represent differnt races. Since the original intent of Anthros or "Funny Animals" was not them to be carbon copies of humans (and thus have no races) we made a book that had all sorts of Anthro girls of all sorts of species that "could" be black if they where human.
