GOOD EYE! And while in canon she is, this is part of my effort to actually solidify how they met and how they became a couple. My thought was (as is true for many people) that Lucy was originally straight (or so she thought) and one day circumstances force her into the world of one Kate Coyle, where they eventually learn that sometimes the missing pieces of who you were meant to be are in someone else's hands.

Excellent dynamic between these siblings. I try to be like this for Volcan and Lighris too X3. Though, nothing specific was said I still hope Lucy's not in a bad relationship; she doesn't deserve such treatment...

I tried to convey their relationship with each other as close siblings, given their family background Davis and Lucy would do just about anything for each other. And of course at the same time they can pick out things that the other is not saying due to their closeness. As far as her relationship, I wouldn't say she's in a bad one per se, but certainly not the right one.
I'm so glad you liked it! I did this one to sort of get some practice into shorter pieces, both because I tend to write longer epics and the fact that at the time I needed something I could finish relatively quickly to keep up my production schedule (having had a tough time finishing the last piece and running over) so I figured why not do something different and expand on my worlds at the same time?
