I'm Baaaack! Yarp, new cell modem and soon to come, a whopping nine foot motorized dish!

I'm fascinated at the images one can get of the moon rising, or setting, and especially under unusual conditions like fully full, or the faintest of slivers. Here's my first try at catching the full moon while the sun is just setting. Sorry about the low light and cranked exposure, this is done with a long 500mm lens with a rather high f-stop of 8.0. You use what you got though, and only dream when you've got the money to do so. This is the same moon, slightly later and much more visible.

Yes, I've got a new camera body! A Pentax K-x which was chosen because I have a friend willing to share his old lenses, this 500mm and a 70x300mm zoom lens.
