Dark Souls 3, the reason I have been so distracted that had nothing to do with work or even church or making dinner or grocery shopping. My happy little escape.
3 Character files are testaments about how you want to make a narrative of a character who appears in the game.
Hereward the Harald was my initial character, an "Experiment". A naive, tender-hearted kind of man who kind of already knew from the beginning that the whole journey was crapshoot. Figure out how the game works, go to specific areas, fight bosses, feel and experience the everything of the game. He used powerful Miracles, and he ended his journey by letting the First Flame die as the Fire Keeper stood mere inches away, keeping her silent vigil.
Solomon the Deprived was created to more or less be my way of "Veteran-ing" the game after getting my "First Taste" with Hereward. Solomon was an already hardened man, a reincarnation of his previous version from the age of Drangleic. While Hereward fought mainly with Spears and Miracles, Solomon let me get a little more luxurious with his stats as I took up mainly Pyromancy. He ended his journey by linking the First Flame, however, as is the case with the previous two Dark Souls, this action would prove to be as pointless as letting the First Flame die.
Stuerwrym the Knight, a stalwart armored man who became obsessed with Dragons and sought their incredible power. He takes up Sorceries and Miracles, as well as my weeks of experience in playing through the game, and replaying levels as Summons or with the help of Summons. He took the third option: Rather than linking the First Flame or letting it die, his efforts to harness the First Flame with the power of the deadly Dark Sigil allowed for an entirely NEW age to begin at long last, finally bringing this series to a close for me.
I don't sketch very much anymore. But I wanted to do this to celebrate my latest victory.
