I got the film from someone for free at a flee market near the Abcoude church in the Netherlands. And boy, I couldn't wait to bring it to my grandma in Sittard to put that VHS tape into the TV player! I couldn't watch it at home since I don't own a traditional video recorder anymore. When I got to Sittard for a weekend stay at my grandma's house I told her about the film I got from the guy at the flee market, and she wanted to help me getting the VHS player to work. And once that was done, I could enjoy the very first part of a franchise that, honestly got way too many sequels. But the original film was great! Sure, it went by verrry slowly, since it's so old, and on top of that, it's a kid's film and those films are slower than the films aimed at older audiences. And the view was a bit... ''snowy'' during some parts, for lack of a better term, but come on, it's a VHS tape from 1988, what do you want?

But overall the film was great, and I could finally live Littlefoot & friends' big journey myself. It's totally worth watching if you haven't seen it yet!
