Oh yeah I love that about Don Mcleans music. Its like its a living thing that kind of just exists within itself. I mean the subtle adjustments to meter and tempo along with the beautiful singing he does is just amazing.

I noticed when I listened to it, some pauses that were slightly different that what I was used to. But it sounded really nice, Drew, thats really impressive. I'd love to hang out sometime, you have a voice almost the same range as mine, and I don't get to sing. ^^

very nice. i always liked this song as well...as well as a lot of other work by don mclean...very nice job. your soft voice puts a lot of depth into the lyrics.

I would love to work on more of his stuff, I think I have covered most of my favorites from American pie already though :P I'll need to start working on some stuff from Tapestry. though I have been listening to a lot of Paul Simon lately so I might head in a bit of a different direction. after all I got this short span of attention, I got this short little span of attention and my nights are so long...
