Anyway, featuring myself and
Zeelo as catboy faeries. Just checking out the forest early in the morning as the dew is still fresh on the leaves. Does this even count as a transformation since Calex is already a faerie just not the pixie type?

Sure! It's very cute! It'd be great for world-building too!
Have you ever seen Disney's Fantasia, particularly the "Nutcracker Suite"? There are different fairies there too! "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and "Waltz of the Flowers"

It's been a couple years, but I have, own the collection thingy that has Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 in one box. A shame that they never went with original plan of releasing a new Fantasia every so many years. Some absolutely wonderful music in that movie with gorgeous animation.
I don't remember all the details. But from what I understand Fantasiai, and especially Fantasia 2000 was not a huge financial success and so they never went back and did further updates. But... Who knows, with the advent of Disney+ maybe they'll give it another shot and try it out as a streaming event instead of a movie release. Here's hoping!
Honestly, I'd love new Fatnasia remake just to see some good ol' Disney hand drawn animation. CGI has come a long way, and I won't say Disney CGI movies look bad, because they don't... But, the original 2D style just has a certain charm to it. It's like watching a painting come to life.
