Well it took me six months....
BUT that is because I kinda broke the sewing machine at my house! (It had to be shipped off to Switzerland to get fixed) So I managed to find a kid here in my dorm building that had a sewing machine that I could use. I'd say that if I had a working sewing machine to begin with, maaaaaaybe about a week? Something like that. Depends how hard-pressed you are.
