Seeing as how only Sagitarius and Leo are likely to recognize most/any of the villains by sight (barring the clearly unnatural looking ones), and Leo isn't even there, the plan's really not crazy at all. You just get near them, learn a few things, then hit them right between the eyes, completely off guard. As they're reeling from the first hit, you hit them again, and now you're at a serious advantage. Besides, without knowing their powers, they'd be going in just as blind as the heroes are to the potential peril that awaits them. Nightmare's a crafty one.

Oh, and it seems I was way off the mark with Legion, though she certainly looks cooler than I'd first thought. Interesting little imp/familiar on her shoulder; I'll go read her profile now.

Nightmare was in the bar before talking to James though right in front of Sagitarius and she didn't seem to say anything, and I am pretty sure Cancer was listening in as well to James' monologue and even commented on how hot the mare looked. (the tiger has nice taste I admit).

Lots of people had different ideas of what she would be based on her name. Nightmare will collect some information and set some traps and plan a few contingencies before she heads in. then she'll call them out to judge their strength.

Well I could see how some of them could manage to fit in and mingle but this is bound to back fire due to certain personalities, appearances or powers.

Hmmm, I like where this is going. Ghoul and Wraith aren't getting in unless they do something nasty and Nightmare hopefully would put her foot down on either of them stirring up the hornet's nest before the rest of them are ready. It's like a masqurade in reverse.

Best time for a cowardly assault is when you've got someone flirted up or otherwise off-guard thinking you're just a regular person. Looks like James really needs to invest in having the default power of Danger Sense running, would have been really helpful in this case and many others. That or just Sense Evil.

why would she be called nightmare? even with her fiery appearance i read that was only a manifestion of her powers, which are psychic i believe.
