June is, indeed, given an offer (though it isn’t so dramatic as one she ‘can’t refuse’, despite Toichiro’s tone). Does she proceed to help the ayakashi she’s gotten to know, or go back to the way things were the day before?
There are also ‘intermission’ sections in this chapter. They don’t move the story forward very much, and the information in them may or may not be relevant later, but I thought it’d be nice to get to know everyone a bit better.

This was a very interesting chapter, seeing how they were going to deal with the human in their midst.
I will say that at least this time only a few look at here as a "mere human", unlike the brothers in your previous tale. It shouldn't be as much of an uphill battle for her.
June was taken aback when she realized just how old these creatures are, however. A perfectly reasonable reaction.
I also like that while she is a strong woman who wants to help, she is very much aware of her limitations and makes sure that others know of them. :)

No, most of them work quite well with humans! Koga, especially, doesn’t see that much of a difference between Ayakashi and humans. Then again, he’s one of the types that’s going to live about the same amount of time - Yura and Gaku might think differently. They’re just not assholes about it. xD;;
Knowing her limitations and focusing on what she CAN do is a big part of who June is; so, I’m glad that’s coming through!
