Ahhh, spring time. I miss it so much. So good that I can draw sunny sceneries and happy characters even when winter comes close. :3

Ohh! I love the detailing on the wood a lot!
I sometimes forget to mention how great you are at layering with your work as well; the out of focus nature in the foreground is a nice touch and surely adds to the negative space that would otherwise be there.
To be honest the more I think about it, that could be why I perceive my own work as flat, I either make it all on the same field or Behind the subject. Never in front. I'll have to try something like this at some point. Thank you for the inspiration ^-^~
Also, one final thing I think is worth mentioning, I absolutely love this over all- but seriously your work with fur and hair is always my favorite. I honestly cannot say I know how you go about detailing it with the shadows, but it looks fantastic.
Oh and I forgot to ask earlier, what blur do you use on the foreground nature?
is it a Gaussian blur, or maybe motion blur? Or something you've done by hand even!? ^o^
