If Eternal tries out the shape of a Wookiee it means to be kidnapped by Thrandoshans for his black pelt... poor luck^^;

Eternal does make for a very distinguished Wookiee, whom with his black fur and blue eyes in this form I think would probably be considered rather attractive by female Wookiees and I can't imagine him being referred to as a 'hairy walking carpet' by Princess Leia. Though it's inevitable that he's ended up in another bondage situation he's got lots of experience with those, along with a Wookiee's great strength and the retractable claws which given he wouldn't be bound by the honour code there's no prohibition on using them to aid in escape if need be.
Given some of the less admirable traits of the Trandoshans like the habits of hunting sapient beings and practise of slavery and that this pair were intending to skin him and that they are capable of slowly regenerating lost limbs, I don't suppose there would be much sympathy if Eternal once he was free ripped of an arm or two. Though I suppose he could be merciful and perhaps just give them both a good clout to render them unconscious, tie them up and making a much better job of it and then steal their starship for a few interstellar adventures.

With the rarity of black pelted Wookiees, it was fortunate for the Trandoshans that the one they'd captured hadn't been the infamous Black Krrsantan. Relatively young and foolhardy they hadn't really thought things through or considered that this was a relatively unusual Wookiee aside from his distinctive pelt.
This particular Wookiee would have no issues of honour regarding using retractable claws other than for climbing, managing to use them along with countless lifetimes of experience in breaking free of his bonds. Where another Wookiee might have painfully torn off an arm or two, a good clout across the head was sufficient to render a pair of hapless Trandoshans unconscious.
Given the relatively limited manual dexterity of Trandoshans and the elaborate nature of the knots used along with being tightly bound, whether they'd be forced to resort to desperate measures using their teeth was an open question. That the Wookiee had stolen their ship and all their credits was something of a lesser annoyance.
