Hey all, I’ve haven’t really taken the opportunity to explore alternative continuities with my characters, except for Junior with the three alternative endings to his story, Clowning Around.
However, since Skunktember is coming to a close soon, I thought I would finally write down an idea I’ve had for a while now, which is an AU featuring the protagonist from Storwan Industries, Cecil.
Cecil the Apothecary doesn’t have the same backstory that he does in the Storwan Industries continuity. In fact, he doesn’t know much about his past at all due to the fact that he received his magical abilities in an accident that stripped him of his memories.
Now you may be asking yourself, what magical abilities are you talking about? Well, if you take a look at that staff in Cecil’s hand, you’ll see it intertwined with flowers. It is through this staff that Cecil can channel a power from deep within himself that allows him to summon any type of plant he desires from the Earth itself.
So then why is he called Cecil the Apothecary if he seems to possess mage-like abilities? Well, that is the result of years of intense travel and study. Since the day he awoke, with no memories of who he was and his naked body clad only in flowers, he journeyed across the land, learning the properties of every plant he came across.
He gained such expansive knowledge, that he can brew a myriad of potions and medicines with healing properties that most can barely fathom. He now wears simple travelers garb and often spends time in remote villages, offering his services as a medicine man in exchange for information and samples of the local flora.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t without a means of defense, for those who attempt to harm him quickly discover that with a quick tap of his staff, he can summon vines to ensnare any foe, and even call upon carnivorous plants to scare off particularly daunting enemies.
Despite his offensive capabilities, Cecil abhors violence and tries to avoid it at any cost. If his assailants seek money, he will give them large tasty fruit grown straight from the Earth itself as a peace offering.
Such generosity can be taken advantage of, which Cecil learned the hard way when one group of bandits ignored his attempts at peace and stole his staff, thinking it was the source of his power.
This was a folly on their part, as they quickly learned that the staff merely help channel his power, for without it, his abilities could run rampant, causing carnivorous plants to emerge all over and nearly devour the entire group of rogues.
Despite his potential for destruction, Cecil is a gentle soul in this world who merely seeks to learn about two things. The first is plants and the second is himself. He deeply wishes to learn about his identity before gaining his abilities, and he hopes by doing so he will learn the purpose of his powers.

Well, that was something I’ve been sitting on for a while!
I was inspired to do Cecil in a fantasy setting a while back, but nothing ever came of it. I don’t really play Dungeons and Dragons, but if I ever did so, this version of Cecil would be my character.
I even gave him an ambiguous title, Apothecary, that way he could fit into different roles depending on the team, such as whether they needed a healer, warrior, plant-based magician, etc.
Lastly, in case you can’t tell by the bulge in his lederhosen, yes Cecil is still padded in this continuity, although it’s quite ‘different’ than his usual diapers to say the least.
I’m thinking of getting a commission to show you all, so if any of you are interested, leave a comment below.
Also what do you guys think about crossing over fantasy themes and ABDL?
