I would also perhaps recommend trying out Design Doll? It's a program that allows you to pose mannequins and change the body types to whatever you need. Just take a screenshot of the mannequin and you can certainly trace those to your heart's content plus it's a good learning tool for posing and stuff.
Thanks. I just genuinely CANNOT draw to save my life, so i'll probably start with a possibility to some tracing in the face, since i can't get noses and mouths right on animals, and then everything else will change because i'm using this as a chance to work on that skill, and then i'll make it my own from me changing it to a completely different character. I just chose this particular piece because i'm drawing one of my oldest creations, but when pen gets to paper, my mind doesn't process it as "oh, it's just a mistake, you'll learn", it's a state of " this whole thing's a mess, start over", so i'd like to start off with a model of a feline for a base. I hope it's not too much to ask... i've been wanting to draw her for a very long time, i just haven't been confident enough to try.
I'll link back to your account (when i do happen to finish) and i'll prove to you how much this'll help me. Like i'm saying, it's not that i'm trying to redo your piece, i'm moreover using it as a model to start things off in a small part, then take it down the steps into the full piece of mine. Thank you for your time and patience with me.
Don't. Even the commissioner here said don't. If you cannot respect my desire to not have my art traced then I will not respect you. If you trace my work, you will be placed on my front page as an artist beware. I don't want proof how much my work will help you - I even provided you an avenue to learn yourself via Design Doll. Do not trace my work and do not modify it. You did not pay for my time or art so you are not allowed to use it.
I told you I'm fine with REFERENCING. That is not the same as TRACING. Do not trace my work whatsoever. I understand you're trying to learn but don't trace. I am not a perfect artist and I make mistakes so if you trace my work, you will only be replicating mistakes that I make. My art is not a base and it is not a ych. Do not trace it.
Just search feline base on FA and you'll be presented with a bunch of free to use bases you can do whatever with. This is a personal commission and not up for tracing use.

Also if you decide to trace when I have already said no, you are flat out telling me you do not respect my request nor someone else's property which is a shitty thing to do.
I've browsed comments you left on other people's work asking to use it. I don't care if they are alright with it - that is them and this is me. Do not use my work. Again, search feline base in the search bar up there and there's literally hundreds of bases you can trace and use and whatever. I was originally fine with letting people reference my art but now you are giving me second thoughts because you just ignored what I said about tracing and flat out said you'll start with tracing.
Everyone starts somewhere, this is now how you should do it - especially when someone says no. Like, just grab a pic of a cat on google and trace that. There's loads of stock images and if you're gonna trace, you might as well do it from something in real life that's actually correct. I don't have a clue how to draw cats so you really shouldn't be tracing my work at all.

Thank you. I appreciate that you'll find something else - I'm very uncomfortable with tracers so again thank you for deciding to not do that.
I'm sure you can draw your char Evelyn. If you work hard and practice, you can gain the skills. Again, search up feline bases! There are other people way better than me at drawing cats and I think you'll find that more helpful. I say this genuinely to help you out because that's what bases are for - to make your own art out of them. With practice and time, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it and it all starts with using resources available to you rather than tracing the work of someone who barely draws felines like me because I already know I made a lot of mistakes in my own work.
I wish you the best of luck on your endeavors.
