This is written about some things that have happened recently in my life.. i don't know what you'll think, but i hope you understand and don't do what i've done.

Oh, and i'm not saying goodbye for a long time, i'm saying goodbye to actual forever, or my promise to abstain from this forever.

The song is written in alternating 4:4, and 3:4 time signatures, and the section starting with "so i ask myself" is a spoken-word bridge. (in 4:4 or 5:4, i'm not sure which flows best yet.) The "why must i..." section is written in 2:4, and the time signature returns to 3:4 at "the moment that I..."
