This hyena was happily chewing on some bone thing until the other hyena came over and started chasing her at the Bronx Zoo.

I was in the gift shop buying a couple hyena plushies because one can never have enough of those, when I saw a little boy about 3 years old holding onto a little hyena plush. I was thinking yeah you go kid! He told his mom he wanted to get that one, and the mother said to him, "That's a hyena! Hyenas are vicious! I don't want you getting that!" This made me angry, but I kept my mouth shut. The mother suggested he get a lion or vampire bat plush instead! I guess hyenas are so vicious and terrible even in plush form that they will corrupt your children and destroy your home.
