I know who sailor moon is X3 ... I guess the joke was just... hard to catch or something. Ah well. X3 but yes... I know what it is... they played it on cartoon network enough, and my friend used to joke about creepy transexual men dressing up as Sailor Moon herself all the time. X3 I'm familiar.
