This is one hell of an old picture, and finally I've been able to finish this sketch.
Was trying to make one of the Coulrophobias be in a less than cheery mood, actually attempting to scare someone.
Sharp teeth, deformed features and claws are spooky sure...but when it came to colouring I needed something more.
So I decided to reverse the colours and make it look like they are creeping to take over him as if he was going to become a monster of sorts, think Pennywise in the most recent version when he got stabbed in the face but a bit more extreme.
The whole idea is that his body would become distorted with hand engorging to have claws, parts of clothing becoming animated, fangs and what not stretching to the point where normal human...ish anatomy could not fit.
And then the background...decided to go with a sort of corrupting thing, like his own transformation would be affecting his environment.
