Sort of stole the title from ff13... Anyway, it's boss music ^^.
I don't compose in 6/8 too often, but this came out really well. Okay it's in 12/8, close enough. Enjoy!

Wow :3 I like this, it's pretty good and boss-y
Also random semi-unrelated thought:
Isn't 6/8 basically the same as 3/4... I mean it would turn out the same if you made it 3/8 at double the tempo it's at now?... eh maybe I'm just making things complicated by thinking about something I shouldn't pay attention to lol x_X

It's music theory semantics really. *begins rant* so both 3/4 and 6/8 have six 8th notes in a measure. The difference is how the beat is divided. In 3/4, the beats go 1 2, 1 2, 1 2, like for example in Tetris theme C http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3746823/. In 6/8, the beats go 1 2 3, 1 2 3, like for example.....well the entire pirates of the caribbean soundtrack.
Similarly in music theory we say anything with a 4 on the bottom, the beats are divided into twos (2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, etc.) and anything with 8's on the bottom if the top number is a multiple of 3 is in groups of 3 (6/8, 9/8, 12/8, 15/8, etc.). *ends rant*

no actually its not. 3/4 means 3 beats in measure, with quarter not equaling 1/4 of a 4/4 measure. 6/8 means a quarter note takes 2 beats. so if you have all quarter notes the counting becomes instead of 1 2 3 1 2 3 it becomes 12 34 56 (or 1 3 5 if you dont include the sustaining of the note in the actual counting)
Ah well even if I know it my body doesn't seem to care since it doesn't follow instructions from the brain properly (that's my biggest source of frustration and hating) It's stupid if your brain knows exactly what to do the hand should be programmed to follow the instructions with 100% precision just like when typing this text now I don't have to look at it, I can type with closed eyes and not do any errors and I'll still know if I did any errors so there's nothing wrong with my finger precision but it still doesn't work on something else --' Eh I'm just ranting and whining really, I just need someone to force me to do it so I won't skip out...
6/8 does not mean a quarter note takes 2 beats. There are two beats in a 6/8 measure, made of two groups of three eighth notes. In 6/8 a quarter note is 2/3 of a beat. One beat in 6/8 is a dotted quarter note. The 12 34 56 pattern indicates 3/4. Like I said though, just music theory semantics xD.
I've always liked the 6/8 and 12/8 feel. It can add a degree of tension and action to a piece, and it is easy to get that sense of urgency. The boss music/fight music often uses this. I always think of the Gradius type stuff tho.
I do not have FF13 (yet) so I'm not that familiar with the theme, but it sounds like you did a good job. Nice to have some dynamics in there as well. :D

How the hell did all the comments turn out to be about time signatures xD
The FF13 theme is called Blinded by Light, and though bears nearly no resemblance to this, is still an awesome theme. Made a piano arrangement of it just a few submissions ago. Glad someone noticed the dynamics though, thanks ^^

How funny, I just started doing something with a 6/8 chromatic fugue (though it's going to to be played with a 12/8 feel, just so that the motif has a nicer phrasing on sight). I could see myself fighting the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog with this music! Also, you must compose in 8/8 one day, it's totally like composing in 8/4, but cooler!
That fugue is now here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3863366/ it's quite brisk! An also for that really cool instrument where you use your legs!
