Covens have a very conservative way of thinking about it, that's for sure! They believe that expelling the magic in a controlled way and using it to make stuff like potions, gems, etc (the comic goes into this stuff pretty soon) is enough to "take care of it" when it's really uh, not. But hey, I wonder if maybe... I am making an epilogue game... explaining more of the plot of that :3c
