this building reminds me of an old movie theater i once went to see a movie at.
someone swung their lightsaber and a giant chunk of the ceiling caved in.
thank god there wasnt anyone sitting under it, it was like 8 seats over where it fell.
needless to say we all scooted down a few seats, to finish watching xD
the noise from the speakers alone was enough to knock it loose.

for the few people who were there, they did have the sound system cranked way up. louder then most theaters.
im pretty sure they had a new sound system, but the silverscreen was really old looking, it was super wide, wider then the projected
image, it was the biggest fucking screen i've seen outside of a drive-in
the place was pretty vacant though, there was probaly about 20 people in a room that could easily seat 800 comfortably
the good news is it was just the ceiling that collapsed and not the whole roof, and it was just a small section,
(probably like 5 sq feet)
it was hilarious though, like something out of a cartoon, were all sitting there eating popcorn and sipping drinks when something happens onscreen, and a chunk of ceiling just decides to say hello. we all move down a few seats, then finish watching the movie like nothing happened. xD
i did find the manager after the show and tell him what had happened, and he acted like it was the end of the world, -until i told him it was alright, that nobody got hit. then he just kinda blew it off and thanked me for telling him, (probably so he could hide the evidence)
i just thought it was hilarious.
the movie we seen was Star wars Episode I, (when it was still new)
im not a starwars nut or anything, but my dad just wanted to take us and see it like his dad took him to see the original when it came out, :]
so i thought that was pretty cool. and the movie was alright too.
