Diesel units, mostly switchers from nearby steel mills and other industries, sit rusting away behind National Railway Equipment in Dolton, IL.
Of note here are an NW-1 (possibly ex-NS/N&W?), an ICG GP11 rebuild, and an old BN geep.
As evidenced by the piles of gutted junk nearby, most of these engines will be used for parts, and the remainder scrapped...
