I litteraly confused this as an unusually tall cathedral riding into the city. Like many tall buidlings in a typical American city this one is owned by a bank apparently, and it has some very curious similarities to the nearby Biltmore house.

Also where have I seen this before...

Oooh you don't see a lot of gothic revival office buildings. In Seattle a lot of store fronts and apartment buildings are gothic-themed but we only have one building downtown that is all gothed-out. (It's terra-cotta. Very pretty.)

Unfortunately you don't have many in Orlando, Florida. The city's main decade of growth was the 70's and the architecture reflects it. When I saw this building I imediately thought of the tower of terror for it's skinny spire at the top

You mean 1870s, right? Because that building was probably built around then. Maybe as late as 1910, but on the east coast architectural styles went out of style earlier than on the west coast.

ah no the picture is from Ashville I was refering to my hometown XD

The tallest buildings in Orlando are all either contemporary or post-modern depending on when they were built.

I think ive seen it. I don,t get downtown too much, but you are right its kinda common in some form or another more than back east.

The only one I know is the Fourth and Pike Building, at Fourth and Pike. It's lancet-style, and it's facade is entirely cream-colored terra cotta. It's across the street from the Beaux-Arts masterpiece Seaboard Building.
