This is a home cut and shaped cab. The Buyer I got it from labeled my rough as turquoise, but unfortunantly the stone is Waaaaaaay too soft and is a natural turquoise look alike.

A moderate bummer but the stone itself is still way pretty even if it's easily scratched. Good thing It's going into a pendant and not a ring :3

Rough slabbed by me, shape etched and cut by me, shaping and doming of the surface done by me. It's almost ready to go on some silver.

size is 1" by roughly 1/2" at the wide point and 1/3" at the small.


edit: after talking to my jewelry teacher, she's positive my stone really is turquoise. This cheers me up immensely. no chrisacola (or however you spell it, phonetically it sounds like Chris-AH-cola) here.
