I'm not a professional, but the first thing I noticed was that all the plants are the same sizes. vary it up a bit, see how that works. hope that helps. :)

you take out those little trees and make it darker in the backround. you shold also have some leaves on the ground. was that helpful?

add some small wildflowers between the grass ^.^ an maybe some vines up the nearest tree (aka the one on the far right)

The big trees all seem to be leaning right. Make some left leaners. And put more little trees on the right, to balance it out.

Maybe add a bit more contrast in the closer trees. As also mentioned by others, adjust the size of some of the plants and add variety. Add some tufts of grass in the dirt/mud/whatever, as that part looks completely bare.

lets see, forest plants...i could provide some general pic refs of the type of plants and tree in the type of forest that you seem to be drawing, if that would help?
