Yeah the movie is almost done, only one more day of sound editing. This is an example of one of our more FX intensive shots. Copies will go on sale of the movie soon.

If GW legal find out, you're screwed :( that's how the German 'Damnatus' movie was stopped. GW doesn't like people mucking around with their IP that they haven't told to.

Indeed. Similarly that isnt a Valk. The tail section is completely different and the size is totally changed around

it still carries a great deal of the same design on it hon. becareful either way. starcraft was once though as a totally different game and nothing ripped off but GW successfully sued blizzard over starcraft. mostly because of the zerg :P

But Im not making money off of it. Similarly since its a student production Im backed by my college who has ok'd the project. And if games workshop wants to sue a student over a 10 minute short film thats rather screwed up. Thank you for your concerns though

Its a student film, I think we're safe. There really isnt anything that we are using with out permission. We didnt copy the Valk, the model looks different and Vox is a latin word.
