Thalia has raised a flock of thirty chickens, some are roosters and most hens. She enjoys their company a lot and therefore demanded to have a whole garden made at the open top of the tower where most of my illithid ocs live at.

I like to think that chickens can be either calming and nice for Illithids, as they have simple minds and are rather easy to understand, and everyone knows chickens are inherently evil too.
Or alternatively, that some illithids are spooked by/uncomfortable with chickens and their way too simple minds.

Tbh I mostly just wanted to see illithids holding chickens. And as it didn't exist I made it myself.
