I'm not sure where the inspiration for this piece came from, but for whatever reason I kept picturing myself in some dark tunnels with water running through them. The walls are made of dark blue stone, and the water, cold as ice. It could be an old aquaduct, or perhaps a tomb, or maybe both, who knows. So a nice and haunting melody to fit such a place was composed, and I think it fits rather nicely.
