I finished something, hooray!
We were under a tornado watch in the area today; I drew, inked and coloured this with colour pencil while we had no power during the day. Once the power was back, we had no internet - so I ended up doing something sloppy in SAI since I didn't like the other result.
I never really realized how drawing myself, pretty much, could help with this weird art-block. Expect to see more Nanu from here on out. :]

I was beaten to it! I do enjoy the unique perspective on this one.
We had some crazy storms yesterday, too. Fortunately, the school has the dorms/apartments on backup generators, so we got our technology back in a matter of minutes when we lost power. Lots of wind damage around today though.

Thank you! :D I think it needs some work still (the shoulders & neck seem wide/weird) but I'm glad it's acceptable!
After living in Florida for 20 years, being used to hurricanes. Then I moved to New York the past 2 years and whenever we get light rain or a minor thunderstorm, everyone freaks out and/or we lose power soooo easily. It's strange. I just layed around with my DS playing Pokemon (yay full battery) if I wasn't drawing, haha. We havn't been outside to see the damage yet, but I'm almost positive there's some trees down since we saw a few branches in the road earlier. :[

I like the perspective on this. I seriously need more practice on that... Oh sending out the painting today. Sorry got swamped and stuff. Received my original. MAN it looks 10X more awesome on paper than when scanned! Evil computers ruining the beauty of things. Even when you try your damndest to adjust it in the computer, it still looks better in real life.
