Zomg a picture I'm actually somewhat happy with for once in my life.
I am sexperimenting with the idea I just had to make dark shadows everywhere theres an angle in the image, anywhere lines intersect or T. I think it makes the image somehow look cleaner, more professional.
I feel like I need to learn a lot more "magic" techniques like this to make my time more efficient before I'll really be happy with my art overall, but I think this is an important first step. Maybe I'll try really inking and coloring this laters
... oh yeah, Rand the character in the pic is kinda a weird animal, its a kl'erin wolf hybrid (kl'erin are a species invented by
dirtiran I believe, of Tokushi avatars on SL, its like a half fox half bird half lemur... thing. But mine only takes the distinctive long ears and some of the brow/eye/muzzle details as inspiration, the rest is more wolfish).
