Articuno babies are lighter colored when chicks, sporting a tiny crest that will eventually branch out into three. Its feathers are sleek with thick fuzz accompanying it along with very small tail feathers that will grow as it matures.

Zapdos is almost chick-like with a fuzzy body, light color, and round appearance. Its feathers build static and it will darken and form it's black feathers as it matures.

Moltres has course-like fuzz that covers its body with thicker feathers that can heat up, but not yet burns with fire. These feathers will grow and increase in heat as it matures.
