Cette peinture acrylique de Paulina est inspirée d'une image officielle qui représentait le groupe des Téa Sisters soit cinq personnages sur un fond dégradé rose, Cette image avait été créée pour la page d'accueil du site italien des Téa Sisters vers 2007 par Edizioni Piemme et Atlantyca S.p.A, Tous droits réservés.

Je tiens à préciser que sur l'image officielle, les personnages n'étaient pas en costume de bain, C'est moi qui ai choisi de faire une version "à la plage" de ce personnage avec la même pose que l'image d'origine.


Malheureusement l’image n’était pas signée du coup je ne connais pas l’artiste qui l’a réalisée à l’origine malgré les mails que j’ai envoyé à des artistes ayant travaillé pour les livres de Téa Stilton et la maison d’édition Edizioni Piemme.

Du coup ne connaissant pas l’artiste de l’image originale, Sur ma peinture j’ai écrit la phrase ci-dessous afin de respecter le droit d’auteur.

Cette peinture a été réalisée en prenant modèle sur une image officielle de la licence Tea Stilton, propriété d’Edizioni Piemme et Atlantyca S.p.A. Tous droits réservés. Ce dessin s'inspire du design de ce personnage présent dans cette série de livres.

J'ai toujours adoré cette image qui n'était malheureusement pas disponible en haute résolution, ce n’était après tout qu’une image de fond de la page d’accueil d’un site. Depuis l'image en question n'existe plus car le site des Téa Sisters a subit une refonte complète. Alors je me suis dit que si je la voulais en bonne qualité, je pourrais la redessiner moi-même, en faisant chaque personnage séparément et ensuite peut-être comme pour une photo manipulation je pourrai rassembler les personnages sur un décor peint de leur monde avec l'aide de Gimp ou Photoshop, c'est pourquoi j'ai laissé le fond blanc derrière.

Je pense faire une version normale comme l'image originale et une version plage de chaque personnage, qu'en pensez-vous ?

Après, je n'ai pas refait le personnage à l'identique de l'image originale car ce n’était pas mon but de faire une réplique parfaite, je l'ai redessinée et adaptée selon mes goûts. Par exemple, Sur l’image originale, Paulina faisait un clin d’œil et moi j’ai préféré que les deux yeux soient ouverts. La queue et la tresse n’ont pas la même forme et les bras sont plus courts, car sur l’image d’origine le coude du bras droit dépassait derrière sa mèche de cheveux.


Et malgré le fait que ces personnages ont toujours eu quatre doigts dans les livres et BD comme beaucoup de personnages anthropomorphes moi j’ai décidé de les dessiner avec cinq doigts, comme j’ai pris l’habitude de le faire avec mes derniers dessins des personnages de cette licence.

I want to clarify that on the official pic, the characters weren't in swimsuits, It's me who chose to make a version "at the beach" of this character with the same pose as the original pic.


Unfortunately the picture wasn't signed, so I don't know the identity of the artist who made it originally despite the mails I sent to artists who worked for the books of Thea Stilton and Edizioni Piemme publishing house.

So, not knowing the artist from the original pic, On my painting I wrote the sentence below to respect the copyright..

This painting was made by taking model on an official picture of the Thea Stilton license, owned by Edizioni Piemme and Atlantyca S.p.A. All rights reserved. This drawing is inspired by the design of this character present in this book series.

I've always loved this picture, which was unfortunately not available in high resolution, it was after all a picture for the background of the main page of a website. Since this picture in question no longer exists because the website of the Thea Sisters has undergone a complete overhaul. So I told myself that if I wanted it in good quality, I could redraw it myself, by making each character separately and then as for a photomanipulation I will be able to gather the characters on a painted background with using Gimp or Photoshop, that's why I left the white background behind.

I think to make a normal version like the original pic and a beach version of each character, what do you think?



After, I didn't redrew the character to the identical from the original pic, because it wasn't my goal to make a perfect replica, I redesigned and adapted to my tastes. For example, on the original pic, Paulina was winking and I preferred both eyes to be open. The tail and the braid don't have the same shape and the arms are shorter, because on the original pic the elbow of the right arm protruded behind her lock of hair.

And despite the fact that these characters have always had four fingers in the books and comics like many anthropomorphic characters I decided to draw them with five fingers, as I got used to doing with my latest drawings of characters from this license.
