I was outside taking video of a fast-moving thunderstorm when I caught this huge cloud-to-ground strike. I took the fifteen frames where the strike occurred and put them in sequnce from left to right.
Although it may look like it, the bolt did not hit the tree, it was further away than that. After I saw this I decided to head inside.
I'm pretty sure that at one point a bolt hit a tower just a couple blocks from where I was.
