Without much choice other than to stay with Matotaka, June tentatively hopes that things may be turning around for her - she certainly doesn’t want to jinx it by saying things couldn’t be worse. I admit to being a little curious what sort of recipes June brought with her.
Finding some of the eastern spices was likely a little pricey over there. I imagine their business to be quite the lucrative novelty!

I’ve got to do a bit of research, but I wasn’t thinking of anything too fancy: jams/jellies (apparently the PB&J was posh party food at the time), bread/cornbread, and some comfort food like soup or biscuits and gravy. Milk Halls are (according to the game) chic, upscale boutiques; a bit slower business but kind of pricey. The customers that I know of are fairly well-to-do.
And yeah, after being dumped there, she needed a bit of a pick me up. There are a couple of straggling a-holes to introduce (they’re not outright assholes, but they’re definitely a-holes) and the antagonists, but overall, it’s a good crowd. I was a bit worried that it over-crowded the chapter, but they kind of flock together.
