It was a while ago I posted something from my sci-fi project, so I started to draw on a Fieldsuit.

A fieldsuit isn't, as most might thing on the first glance, a gear of battle. It's mainly used to disarming mines in space aswell as hull repairs and manual labour such as constructing. They can't move faster then standard walking speed, thus would work like a moving practice target in battle.

The number of suits are few, as it was manufactored by and for the race called Higher Ones. They are above the other races in the universe in both length and technology. A misfortunate accident on their homeplanet, though, caused their race to almost become extinct, with about 200 or so survivors remaining during the course of the story the project tells.

And yes, I might've gotten some inspiration from Terran Marines/Space Marines/Tau Battlesuits.
