So, I made a Made in Abyss fan character. XD His name, Fälla, is pronounced "Fella". He is intentionally a recolor of Marulk and Nanachi so he can be made into an avatar for VRChat. His dress is a sort of palette swap between the pink and the blue on Marulk's dress, the hair is black and based off of the eyelashes and whiskers on my Marulkchi avatar, and the gray fur is a sort of nod to DeviantArt's Fella mascot. The picture was done with pencil, alcohol markers, and white colored pencil. BTW, did you know "Marulk" is Swedish for "angler fish"?

Fälla was a child of the shadows before he received the blessing. While his eyes are still sensitive to light, his fur at least protects him from the sun. He has lived as a sort of mascot for an orphanage on the other side of Orth from the one in the series. The orphanage he resides in focuses more on the research of the abyss, rather than obtaining relics. Fälla is one of the more intelligent and resourceful delvers in his group, but he tends to suffer from some level of anxiety. He suffers from incontinence and is very embarrassed about his diapers, but he isn't made fun of, as they are incorporated into their delving uniforms. He doesn't like to mention how he got the blessing and he seems to get nervous around ropes. He has the ability to detect the curse of the abyss, which helps in protecting his fellow delvers. It seems he emits some kind of scent that deters predators, but it is undetectable by humans. When he isn't delving, he enjoys wearing his dress, as he claims it brings him comfort.
