This is Ramona. She is a three-year-old asian bear who was taken from her mother as a cub.

The men who took her peirced her muzzle with a hot poker and put a metal ring into the hole which has a rope with a stick attatched to it. The men use the stick and rope to make her "dance" to amuse passing tourists.

Ramona is fictional, but her story and the horrors she faced are not and up until recently it was the story for many bears in Eastern Europe and Asia.
