1. Our hero, having slain countless peons finally finds herself face to face with the Goblin King responsible for the recent slew of abductions of her people.
2. She charges forward into the final onslaught seeking the swift decapitation of the Monarch to be done with this filthy business. The Goblin fires his final defence with no time to prepare a second attack.
3. The attack connects with the hero, who is too close to attempt to evade. The spell appears to be disintegrating her armour, but confident in her attack she presses forward. Just one step from striking the King down.
4. Her left leg faulters with an audible squelch. Confused she begins to fall, her momentum moving downwards. She braces with her arms, but nothing slows the descent.
5. Laying pressed on the cold floor, the hero is finally able to take stock of the situation. Her goo-ified limbs splattered around her torso she is no longer able to wield her trusty weapon. In her new form she realises the mistake she made in underestimating the Goblin King.
