So, at the request of  Tygon, I took a series of comparison pics of different gnolls to get a size comparison for the WizKids "Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures" (whatever) series of gnolls. Shown in this first pic are the six currently available sculpts. As one can see, they vary in size wildly. Pretty sure these are cast from PVC/ABS and not resin, like Reaper's Bones lines. On the plus side, means that they'll bend instead of snapping if you bump one. On the minus side, note the spear on the guy second from the left - that CAME that way. I'll have to dunk him in a hot-water bath in order to straighten that out. Might have to just bite the bullet, drill it out, and swap the spear-haft out for a brass rod. They're not bad sculpts, with decent detail and halfway nice equipment. The whip the gnoll third from the left is holding would be horribly breakable in resin. In this PVC/ABS, it isn't too bad, but you'll want to use acrylics on these. I've had bad luck with flexible plastics and oil paints.
