Poor Cindy the vixen...she never gets any action from that oblivious Randy.
This is a parody comic based on the well known anthro comic - "Faux Pas" by the Carspeckens. Faux Paus and its related characters are (C) the Carspeckens. This was drawn without permission.
Yeah, it's a comic parody. So I guess I'm evil and stuff. But hey, at least I drew it myself from scratch, albeit while of course borrowing from some of the style elements of the original work. And I tried not to be too crude/mean about it.
There is, in my opinion, too much cheap cut and paste i-mockery on the Net today. It's easy to do "satire" when simply grabbing the other author's comic work and cutting and pasting new dialogue onto their comics. So of course we see a ton of Net kiddies who can't draw pasting cuss words onto other people's comics. While good for the occasional chuckle, it just seems too cheap, easy and anonymous to me.
Anyway, in the original comic, poor Cindy the vixen keeps trying to get more romantic with her friend Randy, but he is so tame and innocent that he never takes the initiative and continually leaves her just longing for being more than friends. This parody comic attempts to play off the frustrations of that situation as they are in the original comic. Faux Pas endlessly teases Cindy, and its readers, in this way...so it's only fair that I get to tease Faux Pas. Randy can't really be that dumb...can he?

*snickers* Okay, now you're just being shy about what you've just created. She's an artist, like yourself. There's no greater compliment than seeing some one tastefully parody their characters and work. Don't sell yourself short and fail to send this along to them. You might be surprised by the jovial and light hearted reply you get. It might even lift their spirits after the effects that Ice Storm has had on them the past week.
With Asperger's Syndrome I'm so clueless with flirting, any girl (or some guys) I ever meet will have to be this blunt. At least guys are usually more obvious.
(On a side note, I just did a search for this today. Does Faux Pas have an account here, or does someone post them FOR the author?)

Poor Cindy.
Wait! I know what she can do. Take him somewhere private, and do a slow seductive strip, take off her clothes. Even Randy couldn't miss. . .
Oh wait.
Never mind.
Actually, I think she should try sharing a romantic dinner of fluff with him; he doesn't know what he's missing, eating all that dry food. Oh, Myrtle!
