A sketch done for  Delinquentis of his adder Tazi. He also wrote a small story to go with the picture.

Finally, he had been waiting for this the whole time. All the time he spent in training was for those years to come, his years on that strange planet out there. Tazi, a dark blue alien snake, pressed his snout against the thick glass of the carrier. He had been assigned to guard a dirtball called earth.

He had spent years in training, preparing him for duty but all they bothered to send him to guard were humans, Tazi had heard they were pretty rebellious and violent in nature, prepared like he was he hoped, deep within, for a few fights, big, extravagant shootouts, him, the heroic Tazi saving the day, showing those deviant humans where they’re at!

At heart of course he wanted things to be peaceful on his watch, else he might have to show any potential troublemaker who underling and who the state was. He didn’t care if he had to use violence. Shouldn’t be too hard. From what he had seen humans were very fragile and susceptible to his venom.

This should be a piece of cake, hopefully earth would only be the first of many frontiers to patrol.
