Ugh. I do NOT know why FA insists on putting pics I took vertically sideways. Every OTHER website loads them correctly... (edit: took a new, horizontal picture... I don't know why I have to keep doing this... meh.)
Anyway, TROGGBOSS!!! I didn't do a lot of conversion work on this one, just added some crowns to the skulls about his neck and one on the stalagmite on his back. I still need to paint the base-ring, but haven't decided what color to use yet. After priming grey, I painted most of this big guy a deep blue color, then layered several different shades of purple over it! Net result? TROGGBOSS!!!
Is this the start of an entire Troggoth-themed army? Maybe. Depends on my finances. I promised myself I wouldn't actually START such an army until I could prove to myself that I could PAINT it.
Currently, a Dankhold Troggboss is 250 points. Hmm. In a pinch, I could say this covers May AND June (100 points minimum per month?), but I will stick to the original intent of the challenge and say this fills May's entry, but will let me carry some points over into June (and maybe July? We shall see)...
